This tool retrieves the image from a drug label page on DailyMed and analyzes its dominant RGB colors.
How it works: Enter a prescription drug name and get a visual breakdown of the most prominent colors from its label image.
- RGB: The Red, Green, and Blue components of the color.
- Hex: The hexadecimal code used in digital design.
- PMS Match: Closest Pantone Matching System color from our current custom database.
- Distance: Euclidean difference between the detected color and its PMS match.
- Score: Confidence level returned for the detected color.
- Color: A visual swatch of the actual color.
RGB-to-PMS matching is an approximation: RGB is based on light, while Pantone is based on physical inks. This tool finds the closest digital match from our curated swatch set.
